Mobbing as a Business Efficiency Reduction Factor
Abstract
Effects of more or less extensive mobbing, with all of its undesired consequences, is not a relatively new phenomenon, but a phenomenon that has always existed. Irrespective of that, it is a fact that this problem has not been given sufficient attention in written works. This paper was written with the aim of pointing to a certain extent to the possibility of perceiving the economic aspect of this phenomenon. The paper will show the influence of mobbing on business productivity and efficiency. Moreover, it will deal with the costs this phenomenon is causing for an individual who is a mobbing victim, the organization that is facing this problem and the society as a whole.
