Abstract

Computer programs and industries based on them are an important aspect of the modern economy. The development of programs for modern computer platforms requires considerable resources to be spent, especially in terms of workforce. Decisions on selection of adequate legal protection of computer programs and in general its development, to standards of the legal profession, are of a later period. Faced with the fast-developing industry and numerous legal issues that have begun to emerge in practice, legislators have resorted to one of theoretically-considered solutions - copyright protection of computer programs - considering that positive features of copyright protection outweigh the negative ones. The paper presents the issue of copyright protection of computer programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
