Mechanical ventilation can be invasive and non-invasive. Mechanical ventilator can completely replace normal lung ventilation. The greatest success in the treatment of respiratory endangered patients is to cure the underlying cause of the disease, separate it from respirator and allow him to breathe spontaneously.
