Abstract

The demand for the tourism products is affected by many different factors, such as tourism supply, economic, socio-psychological as well as demographic factors. The aim of our study was to analyze the impact of demographic characteristics on tourist’s attitudes about the tourism product of Vrnjačka Banja. This spa is the most visited tourist destination in Serbia, after the capital city Belgrade, and the most famous spa in the country and the region. The main goal of the paper is to show that demographic characteristics, such as gender, age and level of education of tourists, have a significant impact on the attitudes of tourists about key elements of the tourism product of Vrnjačka Banja. The analysis is based on the application of the ANOVA method. Results indicate that demographic characteristics, such as gender and age have the significant impact on the tourist’s attitudes about some key elements of the tourist’s products.
