Abstract

The eff ects of human activity that concomitantly bring harm to nature, ecological
balance and our very being, along with the extinction of particular animal
and plant species, no longer can be ignored. Th e state of peril that today’s
society is in, with ensuant environmental challenges that scientists, analysts,
politicians and humanity altogether have been faced with, is the thesis of the
Jusuf Žiga’s book.
