The paper presents an assessment of the effects of investment in the production of beef, skin and offal. Based on the performed research and analysis, a model of a farm for fattening cattle with a special facility for slaughter and skin disposal was formed. The model was used as a basis for assessing the validity of an investment idea. The dynamic model that is most often used in economic theory and practice was applied to the formed model - the method of capital value of investment (net present value of investment) and yield value as its subvariants. Based on these indicators, it was concluded that the investment is economically justified since the net present value is positive and it is EUR 192.350, and the yield value is higher than the required investments (EUR 693,803> EUR 501,453).
