Едиција „Одрживи развој и управљање природним ресурсима Републике Српске“ састоји се од низа монографија о природним ресурсима Републике Српске који су значајни за развој пољопривреде, шумарства, ветеринарства, животне средине, прехрамбене технологије и других области. Едиција се односи на проблематику посљедица негативних еколошких, друштвених, политичких и економских поремећаја, као што су климатске промјене, смањење биодиверзитета, обновљиви извори енергије, угрожавање животне средине, ризике и неизвјесности управљања ресурсима. Поглавља у монографијама Едиције  представљају прегледне радове чији садржај представља драгоцјену ризницу савремених научних достигнућа и снажан замајац за свеукупни развој најважнијих привредних области у Републици Српској. Ово својеврсно научно дјело инспирисано је потребом обједињавања информација о стању, потенцијалима, начинима одрживог коришћења и управљања природним ресурсима Републике Српске. Едиција у цјелини пружа знања за образовни и научно-истраживачки рад, а истовремено од ње имају користи управљачке структуре као доносиоци одлука код дефинисања стратешких опредјељења, приоритета, циљева и управљачких механизама за реализацију кључних планских докумената који ће унаприједити коришћење природних ресурса за садашње и будуће генерације у контексту њиховог одрживог развоја.

 

The edition "Sustainable development and management of natural resources of the Republic of Srpska" consists of a series of monographs on the natural resources of the Republic of Srpska that are significant for the development of agriculture, forestry, veterinary medicine, the environment, food technology and other areas. The edition refers to the problem of the consequences of negative ecological, social, political and economic disturbances, such as climate change, reduction of biodiversity, renewable energy sources, endangerment of the environment, risks and uncertainties of resource management. The chapters in the monographs of the Edition represent review papers whose content represents a precious treasury of modern scientific achievements and a strong flywheel for the overall development of the most important economic areas in the Republic of Srpska. This unique scientific work was inspired by the need to consolidate information on the state, potential, ways of sustainable use and management of the natural resources of the Republic of Srpska. The edition as a whole provides knowledge for basic and scientific research work, and at the same time management structures benefit from it as decision makers in defining strategic commitments, priorities, goals and management mechanisms for the realization of key planning documents that will improve the use of natural resources for the present and future generations in the context of their sustainable development.
