Abstract

The modern century is characterized by a high level of development of technology and science, and conditions the improvement of the educational process and adaptation to a new way of life. One form of modernization is virtual excursions, which represent an imaginary visit to objects that are studied using modern information and telecommunication technologies. The purpose of this research is to determine the presence of virtual excursions in the teaching process and their impact on children of primary school age. The research was carried out in the area of the town of Krupanj. The research was conducted in the Elementary School "Borivoje Ž. Milojevic". The assessment of this research was carried out on a sample of 80 students from the above-mentioned elementary school. The age structure included in this research is 9+1 years. Based on the obtained data collected by the research, an analysis was performed and it was concluded that virtual excursions are represented in educational institutions and that both genders of students of this institution are equally subjected to virtual excursions.
