About the Journal

Glasnik Šumarskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Banjoj Luci (the Bulletin of the Faculty of Forestry , University of Banja Luka) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Forestry Faculty in Banja Luka.

It publishes original contributions that have not been published previously (original scientific papers, preliminary communications, review papers as well as professional papers) related to all aspects of forestry and associated scientific fields: general forestry, landscape architecture, game management, wood science and technology, ecology, biodiversity, nature protection etc. Criteria for publishing papers include originality, quality, and clarity of style.

The Journal is published in both printed (ISSN 1512-956X) and online (e-ISSN 2303-694X) versions. It was established in 2004 and appeared with two issues annually until 2018, when it became annual.

The Open Access policy of the journal provides free access to full-text papers in pdf format.

The peer review process is double-blinded and every manuscript is reviewed by at least two appropriate referees. Decisions on whether manuscripts will be accepted rests with the Editorial Board.

The Journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

The article processing is free of charge.
