Vinaver’s approach to literary critisism (Jovan Skerlić and Bogdan Popović)
Abstract
The importance of defining the relations between Stanislav Vinaver and the founders of Serbian literary criticism, Jovan Skerlić and Bogdan Popović, primarily lies in revealing the distinctions between the author and his literary works and criticism, more exactly between art and criticism, which in fact, will never be lost. Both Vinaver and Laza Kostić represent an example of the authors who were victims of criticism, or some kind of detriment. In fact, both authors were experts in Serbian literature and culture who, above all, strived to demonstrate and prove its specificity and value, comparable to any European and world culture.Downloads
