Types of characters in the novels of Slobodan Selenić
Abstract
This paper deals with reinstating and explicating types of characters in Slobodan Selenić’s novels. In accordance with the terminology established by Mieke Bal, the characters have been discussed as ‘actors’. The corpus includes all Selenic’s completed novels, while the characters from the novel Malajsko ludilo have not been considered. The paper offers two main types of characters with their sub-types, explaining in what way the writer used the four principles in the creation of characters.Downloads
