This paper aims to show how the analysis of the rhetorical structure of a newspaper review of the novel Death and the Dervish by Meša Selimović, done from the standpoint of the Theory of Rhetorical Structure (TRS) – the theory of text organization, whose authors are William Mann and Sandra Thompson (1987), reflects the discourse functions of newspaper literary criticism, informing and interpretation, that is, its genre features: news and comment.Downloads
