Abstract

The article explores the nature of conflicts and possibilities for their resolution through the prism of defendological approaches. Conflicts represent an inherent part of human relations and social structures, and their understanding and management is crucial for maintaining peace and stability. Through analysis of different theoretical approaches and practical experiences, the article focuses on three key aspects: psychosocial dimensions of conflicts, institutional mechanisms for their resolution, and preventive strategies. Defendology, as an interdisciplinary field dealing with the study of defense and security, provides unique insights into ways conflicts can be prevented, managed, and resolved. Research results show that a holistic approach combining psychological, sociological, and political science perspectives is most effective in understanding and resolving conflicts.
